Luke 2:1-20 “Good Will to Man”
Need
A life without Jesus is one of desperate need.
We cannot meet this need that we have and are headed for judgment.
The good news is that God does what we can't and is giving.
Need Met
The message of the angels was that their need was met by the Savior. (vs11)
God gave everything in the gift of His Son.
There was good news that the long-awaited Messiah has arrived.
Response of Joy
The shepherds' joy compelled them to go see Jesus. (vs15-16)
Their joy also overflowed in sharing the good news. (vs17-18)
Our joy in this season must match the greatness of the news.
